System Engineer (Remote)

Insight Global is looking for a process engineer for one of our large defense clients in Warren, MI. This role will be supporting the systems engineering process group (SEPG). Majority of time will be spent assessing existing workflows and working closely alongside other engineers to develop new manufacturing processes and write tools for management. This position requires a senior level person that is able to multi task, is proactive and can take the lead on projects as needed.

Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of experience gathering requirements and building process automation tools
- Experience with the following tools: Jira (setting up, not just using), Gitlab, Confluence
- Experience working with power apps like SharePoint or Microsoft PSA
- Strong communication and ability to take on some project management responsibilities
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering field
- Previous DoD experience
- Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance

- DoD or Combat Vehicle experience
- Active Secret Clearance
